Free Parenting Tele-Classes
I’m excited to announce that I’ll be hosting a series of free telephone classes for parents or grandparents or anyone who cares about raising children.
I hosted my first class last Thursday evening, 10/23/2008. It was titled “Understanding the Minds of Boys and Girls”. The class was a user friendly class based on what we know about brain development from the latest neuroscience development. I offered practical advice for parents to apply at home. Knowledge is power in parenting. Babies don’t come with how to manuals. If you’d like a free recording of that class, send me an e-mail to maryannlowry@mac.com
This Thursday night, October 30th at 7:00 pm MDT , 8:00 CDT and 9:00 EDT, and a live repeat of the same class at 9:00 p.m. PDT I’ll be offering another class called
“Cultivating a Resilient Mindset to Raise Resilient Children”
These classes are fun and informal. I’ll share information, but participants are encouraged to take part in the discussion.
