FAQ's
What happens after I commit to coaching?
After
we determine your goals and needs, I’ll design a coaching program for
you based on your coaching goals. I meet with you once a week either
over the phone or in person. Throughout the program, homework will be
assigned and we’ll use the information that you share as a springboard
to move into the next session. You are the expert on your life. My role
is to help you see yourself through the eyes of another and to
structure a program to help you move forward. I am committed to your
success, so I will be available to you via e-mail to answer questions
or provide clarity.
How is coaching different from therapy?
Coaching
is based on moving forward and discovering answers to help you change
direction to live in a way that is right for your unique life
circumstance. Coaching is designed as a program with a beginning and an
end. Some choose only an hour of coaching. While most of the time I
advise people to be willing to commit to one to three months to gain
the optimal results.
What can I expect from coaching?
Once
we diagnose what your needs are, a great way to describe coaching is
working together to put together a jigsaw puzzle. We work together to
arrange the puzzle through a conversational style discovery process.
This may involve examining and questioning the assumptions, beliefs and
habits that are currently driving your behavior and to explore options
that are already working well for you. Whether you approached coaching
to become a better parent, or to just determine why you seem to be
stuck in a life pattern that is killing your enthusiasm or passion for
life; you will be guided to discover the answers to questions that
motivated you to pursue coaching as an option to enrich your life. As
your coach, I will help you focus, inspire, motivate, educate and hold
you accountable for your goals.
Will I have to do something different or uncomfortable?
While
coaching is a very life empowering rewarding experience, sometimes
personal growth requires some pain. To create a powerful intention, a
commitment to yourself to bring into existence a particular result, you
must be willing to look within yourself in order to reveal, truthfully,
how committed you are to reach a positive outcome. Sometimes, the
desired outcome may require new or initially uncomfortable ways of
viewing the world, yourself, or others. Though I offer a fresh
perspective, I totally honor an individual’s right to free will choice.
Decisions made during the coaching process will be yours. However, my
role as coach is to serve as encourager, cheer-leader, motivator and an
ongoing supporter, to inspire courage needed to reach the outcome
aligned with your genuine potential. Pushing someone to follow my
agenda for your life goes against my total philosophy of coaching.

the coaching process, I promise that your openness coupled with the
tools at my disposal will lead to a transformation that will provide
you with the mindset to live a life of joy and abundance. My practice
